I'm running an expired trial version atm (I don't understand why it says its expired when I can still use it), and I love it. If I can muster up enough money, I'll buy the full thing :).

I've been using it since June or something :D (build 7100 32bit) If you overlook all the bugs of this build it's (in my opinion) the best OS from Microsoft so far. I think it FAST. And by fast I mean really fast, and I really like the new taskbar.

I'm probably getting the Pro or Ultimate version.

I will get it for sure. It's a very fast O/S, maybe even faster than XP and it has nice design. Also I only had one BSOD with Win7 RC, Windows XP had 20 BSODs in that time.

Once I retrieve my laptop back from my cousin I will be loading it up on their to try it out.
I have 400Gb of stuff installed on this and do not wish to format. Does W7 have a good upgrade procedure?

I used to use partitions but they're honestly just a pain in the ass and since I only reformat once every few years it really isn't a big deal.

I will probably be getting it sometime next year.

Partitions are hassle tbh. I have a second drive to install soon, so probably would reinstall, but just really cba. Its an entire days worth of copy, paste and reconfiguring.

:P I am pretty fast with installing as I don't need much and cod2+tools just adding my reg entries and voila it works not reinstall. Most things work without install so if I have to it goes really fast.

Had never problems with partitions :D As I need more for arch linux etc

Got it in the post on monday, came early to my surprise, and installed it on tuesday. At first when installing i thought something was wrong because for about 5 minutes it sat there doing nothing at all before the screen changed and the cd/hdd started doing something, it did this twice but despite that the whole install only took about 25 mins.
So far i've not really had any problems with it, i find it as quick if not quicker than a fresh install of XP. Some of the new features are pretty cool, i'm still getting used to it though.
