I'm not saying WoW is bad. I'm simply saying that games have surpassed it and the only reason they go unmentioned is because WoW had a monopoly on the market before the others ever came out. Just because it is popular doesn't mean it is the best out there.

But because it is so popular it has a lot of patch support etc, and even if there was an MMO that was way better than WoW, but only had 10 players, who wants to play that?, the fact that the community is so huge makes the game better.

So you've played every other MMO out there? What about LOTRO? It has several hundred thousand players, costs less per month, and I found the beta to be just as good as WoW. That's only one example out of tons of other MMOs that I'm sure you've never played. To claim that it is the best simply because you think it is is just illogical. That's like saying Christianity is right because that's the religion you grew up with.

I have tried Runescape, WoW, Guild Wars and LOTRO.

Lotro = the worst of them imo.

I have tried all of those as well. WoW was the worst imo. MMOs are about personal preference. I had about 100 hours on LOTRO. I played Guild Wars for well over 400 hours. I played Runescape on and off for about two years. I only played WoW for about 40 hours until I got bored.

LotRO sucked balls at the start. Shitloads of bugs but it's better now.

WoW is still the best MMO around. Best support, most customers.

I never said previous MMOs suck, but WoW is the best around here now.
