It's actually Iran that blocked access first.
I guess Blizzard had to comply.

Look closely at the reflection at the end of the video clip and you can see a guy in a van with a camera filming it...

They said sorry, but are the advertising standards going to do anything about it, this is false advertising on a grand scale.

The number one thing on that list that annoys me - 'tipping'.
Culture forces a person to 'tip' the waiter on good service, but the fact is the restaurant have already taken your tip in advance. So on a meal around £50, you probably have paid £6 tip.
Even though I know this fact, and I hate it... I still feel obligated to leave a tip >.>
A few others on that list are certainly close behind though.

It's not the concept of tipping that is the problem, it's the restaurants artificially inflating prices. Tipping helps to ensure that the waiters that do well make more than those who are shit, it's slightly flawed by generally still effective imo.

I don't tip either. I find it bullshit, they don't tip firemen either when they save you from your burning house (Stupid example on purpose, this one is much more important). When something costs 4,95 and I pay with a bill of 5 I generally say to keep the 5 cents because I cba walking around with that shit, not because I'm nice.

In America people who get tips are generally paid less. For instance, waiters can actually get paid less than minimum wage since they are supposed to get tips. The same thing goes for pizza delivery guys here, they tend to get paid less and are expected to make up for it in tips. Tipping isn't universal in America either, it's mostly just waiters and taxi drivers.
Also, I'm not sure about the UK, but most restaurants automatically add the tip to the bill and call it gratuity (15%) in parties of people larger than 5 or 6, typically because large groups of people tend to tip poorly.

In this country when you tip or give money for excellent service it gets put in a collective pot and is being used for all colleagues, like going out for dinner or a movie for everyone.
An example is when someone dies in an elderly care house and the family thinks the care was excellent, some people 'donate' money but the person who was given that money isn't allowed to keep it. It's being saved for later activities.

Both concepts are terrible.Soviet wrote:In America people who get tips are generally paid less. For instance, waiters can actually get paid less than minimum wage since they are supposed to get tips. To be paid on the chance of receiving a tip is such a terrible concept and I can only imagine the con-artist employer dreaming that shit up, but that is jsut as bad as the opposite where money is taken from you as a tip and included in the bill.

I love Obama, he's just so normal whenever I see footage of him. I'm not sure how he does his job but his character is one of the best president ever tbh.
