Lol thats a good one heheKillerSam wrote:We have a LOT in common on that front Drofder - I have never felt remotely bothered about exams, they are better than doing a proper lesson imo. I suffer stress and anxiety during exam periods, but only minor, as would be expected by someone who cares whether or not they do well in them! Clearly KS and Drofder don't come into that category

I asked my biology teacher the other day "Can you just give me a "U", instead of me wasting an hour of my life on this test?" I would only of got a U anyway so I couldn't be bothered with it.

I have always looked at exams with the attitude of "I either know it or I don't". No point worrying about it.
Care and worry are for women.

I can't imagine why some people have real problems with exams. That they just break down as soon as it's a test situation.

I got a girl in my class (And probably a few more with the same problem) who has fear of failing a test. Now you might not understand it... But some people have serious issues with that.

Yeah there used to be a girl that was a genius in lessons, but when any education was put in a test form, she couldn't do it and normally cried.

If i can give my opinion.
If you study only a lil and u do all ur homework u shouldnt be stressed about exam. Because homework are always harder than exam
And tbh the only 1 who fail at school is the 1 who doesnt work.

Actually, I passed Honors Algebra II with a B this year. That is a year ahead of the class I should have taken for 10th grade and honors. I also did absolutely no homework throughout the entire year and didn't always do my work in class. So, sometimes even if you don't work you don't fail.

No, lack of care and worry are for people who don't want to throw away the enjoyment and happiness in their life on useless and self destructive emotions.Pedsdude wrote:Lack of care and worry are for people destined for failure.
Re: Suicide
Not necessarily, care and worry are good motivators. If you're worried you're going to fail something, it'll push you to work at it and make sure you don't fail.Soviet wrote:Actually, I passed Honors Algebra II with a B this year. I agree with the "sometimes even if you don't work you don't fail" statement though. I did pretty much no work all year in my first year of university, worked my ass off for 2/3 weeks, and recently got my results and I passed them all. I didn't do brilliantly, but then again considering the amount of work I did throughout the year and the difficulty level, that's not surprising. Even so, my first year counts for 1/9th of my degree so in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter too much (as long as you don't fail).

Re: Suicide
In my first year of HBO. I had to do 6 exams over (which I all studied like hell the first time) and the 2nd time I made them with very good grades without studying...
Doesnt mean that I shouldnt study anymore, because the time between test nr1 and test nr2 I had to use all the stuff we got in the exams, so was training them anyway.

Re: Suicide
The best way is to study every night a bit. So you remember it.
If you learn something at the beginning of the schoolyear, and you never use it anymore, you'll simply forget.
But who cba for that ?

Not me. I have a list of teachers that will actually check whether or not I did any homework[SoE]_Zaitsev wrote:The best way is to study every night a bit. So you remember it.
