Just because I didn't personally respond to shoot you down doesn't mean that I couldn't have. It also has nothing to do with the ant statement - I said that weaker opponenets can be flattened by ants, and me not personally flattening them doesn't mean I'm less powerful than an ant. In fact it doesn't infer anything about my strength.

Also, ironically, my original statement already confirmed my level of power. If I'm powerful enough to not have to fight all of my battles, especially the ones who can be flattened by ants, then that implies that I am in fact more powerful than ants, thereby voiding your statement.

Furthermore, you can't have 'won' when it hadn't even half finished. That's like saying a team has won a football (not American football, certainly not 'soccer') game at half time when the score is 1-0. They're losing, but they haven't lost and indeed the other team definitely has not won. I also wasn't helped, I suggested looking at the logs to Sam at the same time that he suggested it to me, and I decided to let him post the response instead.

Honestly, I'm not in the mood to argue an idiotically irrelevant argument about a lighthearted joke that both of you turn into a giant power measuring festival because you can't just accept that it was a joke and let it the hell go. Not everything is a complex philosophical debate on the meaning of power and how it is interpreted based on who you have power over. I certainly don't want to hear about your inner feelings and philosophical contemplations over a completely ridiculous hyperbole of absolutely no importance whatsoever.

Also, that ridiculous comment concerning football (or whatever you want to call it) was completely unwarranted and honestly pretty prejudiced. I have stated numerous times on these forums my support for football (even it being called football) and my extreme distaste for American football. The fact that you picked on that fact just because I happen to be born in America is pretty sad.

As Sam said, seemed to me that your response was a moderately serious one! I'm aware that not everything is a 'complex philosophical debate', however, I do enjoy a good debate, even ones based over practically nothing. Keeps you on your toes (you in the third person, not you specifically). Besides which, it takes a lot to get me frustrated or angry over these type of things.

I can't tell if you're still being lighthearted as you claim to have been earlier, or whether you're taking this seriously. 'Prejudiced'? LOL. Sounds nothing like the Soviet I've come to know on these forums.
I don't remember you mentioning a dislike for American football. As you would imagine, remembering everyone's personal preferences and opinions on everything on these forums is a difficult challenge unless they've stated clearly their opinions many times (e.g. me with Newcastle United, Damsel with WaW/Treyarch, etc. etc.). You having an extreme distates for American football is hardly something that would remain in my memory for a sustained period of time.

I stand by my final argument. The entire debate is ludicrous and I'm not here to argue about whether or not a hyperbole means or doesn't mean something. I'm also not here to argue whether or not it is considered stereotyping and prejudiced to automatically assume someone supports American football and calls football soccer simply because they're American (because it is blatantly obvious that that is stereotyping someone).

I don't mean to reignite this argument, but I've always seen you as someone who's happy to throw around stereotypes of others for a laugh. I personally have nothing against it, in fact I'm all for it (as shown by the stereotype I used in my post a few posts back). As long as it's in light humour then I don't care about it, and am happy to receive as good as I give (no sexual pun there!). I just always thought you were happy to dish out jokes about stereotypes in the past, but maybe I was wrong...
