The mp_gap beta is out!

The reason I'm calling it a beta is because I want to know what kind of fps people get...
If it's good, it's the official download, if it's terrible (which it definitely should not be, changes will be made.)

Downloaded, I did what it said in the .txt but I still can't play it

Well now it sees the map (I had to put it in a hidden folder for some reason "C:\Users\PRESIDENT\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW\usermaps" )

But now I get, script compile error can't find mp_gap_art

You have to put ALL of it in that hidden folder. (The .iwd too)

Just so everyone understands, you have to put ALL of the files in that "hidden" route to your CoDWaW folder.

Really good map
On stock maps, I get about 80-125FPS (on all high)
On this one, all high I can get about 400 (and that's not even when I'm looking down).

Just got 310 with 125!

How are you starting it on CODWaW. Devmap MP_Gap or map mp_Gap ? ive got the map in
C:\Documents and Settings\Steve\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW\usermaps\mp_gap
But i cant sem to get it to work.?? Got an other Cutom map to work but not yours.lol

You'll need to place the usermaps folder included in the .zip into C:\Documents and Settings\Steve\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW\

and the mp_gap.iwd and mod.arena into C:\Documents and Settings\Steve\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW\mods\mp_CoDJumper

Also make sure you've got the latest version of the map (I've just updated) and you have to use either tdm or dm gametype.
If you do everything correctly, it WILL work.

2: Directd9 screwed up on game and had to install DirectX again. so im not having a good day right now..

Ok i think i got it i had to run game and then select the CJ-mod then when game restet it showed the GAP map. so best ya let people know they need to run the codjumper mod 1st then the map will show in the map menu bar, but only shows the Gap map, no other maps..

Hehe it's working.... like it man ,why the water.lol still freshen us up a little i spose.lol
Im acutualy making some jumps,lol on the COD4 version i couldnt jump shit on that Gap map, but im now halfway on the first section....lol

Just to let you know if you put the Localized & Gap file into this folder. C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\zone\english
you can run the map on a Private server patch game, i tried just now with out putting files there and i got a error saying cant find files in C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\zone\english, so i copied the files from the zip and placed them into the \ World at War\zone\english,\ folder and it works perfectly on the server patch now...
