everybody who dont like the game and buy it say to trycharch *Good Work* - and nothing change in the future

i played the complete single player in 3 hours - and this is a fullprice game ??????

not an only new idea in the game, all is stolen from medal of honor and older call of duty games.

Anyone noticed that the sniper mission is actually a direct rip from the movie "Enemy At The Gates" more or less...

I don't have the leaked game downloaded or anything, but i was looking at the plot line for the single player, and was quite disappointed with the sniper mission, yet again you're russian (like cod 2) for it, more than likely you'll be Vasily Zaitsev, who is also the main character in "Enemy At The Gates"

It's just a poor show from Treyarch, and a basic lack of writers with any imagination or talent at all...

Hopefully the multiplayer makes up for this sure i'll buy it at some point (most likely christmas) but i probably will find myself playing cod4 more, there are still so many possibilities and things i haven't done yet, and with the poor appeal that the competitive side has i think my clan will probably stay with cod4

but like i said i still plan on getting cod5 and playing it at some point, really hate that we've basically got a port of a console game though oh well


oh yeah back on topic xfire for checking fps is quite easy

and recording demos... you might find some of the ladders/anti-cheat providers (Enemy Down and X-Ray Anti-Cheat) will provide a way of recording, although XAC only takes random screenshots... and people moan about any person that go onto public servers and have the software runnning

An admin on the callofduty.com forum confirmed that he would sort the FPS command + record command...

I don't have proof though because they deleted the topic for some reason :S

Hmmmm, an admin on the forums is going to fix a dvar in the game, seems unlikely, but lets hope .

He's not really "just" an admin... He's been beta testing the game since the beginning of October or so... Been following him on HLSW playing COD5 alone in servers

Good news.

I hope to be as good in sniping as I used to be in CoD1 and CoD2 (You didn't want to have a game against me ). CoD4 ruined it, sniping sucks! With CoD5 I felt a bit of hope again.

Sniper aims really slow(same as in cod4)
dont think it will be as good as in cod2

Hmmm, maybe i should buy cod2 and try out the game. Starting to get really curious as to why so many people find it so great .

But i will say something about the sniping mission. Nobody's name is "Vasily Zaitsev" in the game (to my knowledge), but the whole storyline in cod:waw does have nearly no originality, although it is a great game for sp (imo) even if the ending was kinda sucky.

Infy, cod2 was great for jumping and playing. Great gameplay and ladder glitching <3
