An emulator allows you to play, say console games on computers, correct?

I guess it only works for games they've 'converted' it for? :P

That made no sense to me. Plus I don't have a megadrive, but I would like to play a few of the games I used to play on it (a friend owned one).

emulator = the game console

rom = the game

you play them on your computer

once i saw this thing u plug into ur comp and it lets you play the roms on the console...it was an n64 game with a wire in it to connect to the computer
so games that do not use cd's (n64) can even be played on the console...or it would prbs jsut be cheaper to buy the controller for ur computer

cos if it uses the cd and u have the console u can jsut burn them on a dvd

n64 games are only 5-50MB so i hope you can fit a few :S
