I used to struggle with them... but now i can do them quite easyly, just gotta know when and where to jump..

Unfortunately a tree blocks the path in the map, so devmap will have to be used to get past it.

Nice map, short and sweet but too hard on some of the jumps for me. (3-5)

Shame you lost the .map file, but if you've still got the .bak (backup file) which is created automatically, then you can use that. And I would move that tree for a start :P , and maybe lose the colors in the name coz its a pain trying to start it via rcon with all those characters, and then its a good map :wink:

Read my post again :roll: ...I said I got disgusted (dis·gust·ed Pronunciation Key (ds-gstd) adj. MEANING Filled with irritated impatience.) trying to play your map. I got irritated and very impatient trying to play your map! I did not say your map disgusted me.

Maybe disgusted is the wrong word to use...dunno...guess I should have said impatient because it wasn't compiled properly. You should always back up your maps so that when something goes wrong, you have something to fall back on.

Oh, Next time you make a map, leave out the ^ in the name...makes it much easier to load and to remember what to type in.

quick overview of my opinions

Wacked
Some nice jumps with a few twists.... could do with some tarting up and i noticed your nadejumps are just a little too small

Groms_Skatepark
Very visually pleasing map with some tricky jumps, the end is a bit confusing and i think it would be better with a clearly defined end point rather than going round and round.


Peds_xmas
I would have expected some harder jumps from you peds, but a nice map.


Jm_castle
Nice map with some tricky jumps
pitty its very plain because of the castle theme (the castle looks stunning tbh)

3 major points on this map

1:The name is fecking annoying having to type /devmap ^3Jm_^2Al^7i^2en^1Att^2a^1ck to get devmap on takes the mick
2:The Hurt Areas
3:The fact theirs no certain end point

Peds_xmas and wacked seemed to be crashing the codjumper jump server...
It just disconnects when it loads peds_xmas
And u get 999 ping and need to restart the server when ur playin wacked...
And u cant play alienattack in a pub server cuz of the tree :roll:

Didnt have any problems with groms_skatepark besides a big shortcut

I watched your demo. I can not get 333 fps and yes, that jump was meant to be a nade jump. This is only my second map (and most likely my last) because I don't know much about mapping and don't know how to go about trying to find out why it crashed the server.

Funny how these problems didn't show up when testing. I did notice when the map was on the server before it got taken off that there were gaps and things in it that wern't there when i tested it but I don't think that would cause the server to crash.

hmm why did u delete it? you can change the bak file to .map btw.

I've fixed the nade jumps and hopefully the cause of whats making it crash. Grom, could you put it back on the server so I can see if it still crashes it?

First off THX for the maps guys! Ive played em several times and came up with the following:

WACKED
Nice Map I say. I Liked those turning doors in the first bit. Besides of a lil shortcut almost at the end and some blurring textures i couldnt find anything that would bother me(and since shortcuts are optional who cares?). The way was a lil weird tbh but there is worse stuff in other maps.

GROMS SKATEPARK
OMG I luv the theme and since im into that coloring it was a pleasure when I first played it. ONLY thing is that shortcut where u nade and another one a lil later I would need 2 sprint for.(so maybe it cant be considered a reel shortcut) I consider it to be a gr8 piece of mapping!

ALIEN ATTACK
:shock: There any chance u gon fix that evil fr***** tree there? Besides a whole night spent tryin to do it and and 2 almost broken fingers...... :wink: Dont get me wrong I liiiike the map because of its lightning and the overall look but I cant put it on our publics as long as u r not able to do it in there :cry:

CASTLE
Some hard jumps (but thats a plus of course) :lol: That elevator took a while to pass since I got stuck in it at first :oops: I didnt look out for any bugs, shortcuts or whatever in the most parts since I was mainly busy making the next jump(and when i did i couldnt find any).

PEDS XMAS
A lil short and MAYBE not as "fancy" as palace but its a nice map! I crouched in those 3-in-a-row tunnels instead of crouching AFTER im in air so...couldnt do it til i realized what i did wrong(took a while sine I was still wasted from newyear).

I love longer maps and so I couldnt vote 4 peds or grom. SRY!
Alien Attack cant really be voted I think cause I always look at funfactor and gameplay (IF that tree wasnt there I might have voted different).
So it was between wacked and castle......I prefered castle for AGAIN for its size and since it "felt" better to play for me.

SO MY WINNER IS jm-castle :!:

(sry STILL not 100% after some exzessive partys so this may aswell all be gibberish) :twisted:
