Custom textures

Ok my custom textures for my map will not show up in game and i do not know why. I posted this on modsonline but i have not had any answers yet. :( I am such a newb :roll:

you must include your custom textures in your pk3 file...
I don't know in which map, but I think Drofder could help you ;)

If the topic Koekie posted doesn't help, then heres a quick explanation.

Go to your textures folder.
Inside there you should have a folder for the textures used on your map. For example a folder called Custom.
When you are making your final pk3, add a folder called textures to it. And inside that folder put the custom folder.

If you need any more help post a bit more detail to your problem :).

What about shaders. Do put those in the texture folder in the pk3, too

Hmmm, tbh, im not sure :?

I checked all the cod pak files and found the shaders to be in a folder called "scripts".
Try that.
