converting a model to a playable weapon

I need to know how to convert a lightray 3D model to a playable weapon in call of duty 1 like for the xmodel,xmodelsurfs, and xmodelparts folders in the pk3 then i can do the rest making it instead of the luger

ok how do u put animations into the game? like what do u do with them to make them work? and would it work to put a model that has a animation with it would u be able to see it work in the game?
