x800 or geforce 6800?

I was considering getting a new gcard but it's so hard to decided with the latest cards but ive been looking at cards like x800pro, x800xt, x800xtpe, 6800gt, 6800 ultra etc.. currently i have an xti 9800 pro 128mb (agp 8x) which can still run games fine, but everyone always wants better. ive looked at a lot of websites with benchmarks/reviews etc. and it seems the 6800 series seems to be a bit better performance wise, but bad thing about it is that most of the cards take up 2 slots, i might need a bigger psu and they seem a bit more expensive than x800 cards. ive also seen ppl saying one card has better picture quality over the other for both ati and nvidia, so dunno who 2 believe lol. what do u guys reckon?

Nice bit of advice there lol...

I can't really give any advice as I don't really know much about the technical side of computers... whatever graphics card you get you will still be able to get over 125fps

the 6800 is the better card but ofcourse that depends on which 6800 and which x800 your compairing

over all the 6800GT is probbably more than youll ever need

I have to say that the 6800 ultra is a amazing bit of kit, altough expensive it made all my games look and run alot better (obviously) as most of u may have seen I get a pretty much constant 333fps on full everything. Overall destiny id recommend it to any1 that can afford it.

Hi, just wondering what fps people get on what card (and settings)? I'm also looking to upgrade but do not have a lot of cash to blow.

I currently have a FX5200 which barely gets 125fps and am looking for a card that can hopefully get 333fps? Any ideas...

im with a ATI Radeon 9250 256mb and ii get 125fps usually but it always glitches cos my cpu needs replacing.. my card can reach 333fps if i play in 800x600

I would go with an x800, since im building a new rig with one soon. The 6800 is a damn good card but i like ATI cards
