Hi all. Im really ready and raering to make my first own cod 2 jump map (yahoo!)

I just need some simple stuff answering, I cant find these in the tuts.

(1) Do you NEED to use scripting? I dont really understand it at the moment.

(2) How to convert into iwd?

(3) How long will it take (roughly) to make a very simple basic jumpmap?

(4) Can i get straight stuck in or do i have to go through pages and pages of tutorials to find out how to use the even most basic things?

(5) How to make a simple wall up?

(6) How to change thickness of walls/ Objects?

(7) How to place Spawn points?

(8) how to reselect objects ive placed?

thats about it i think, any answers i will be grateful.....

thanks thats a quite bit of info. You mentioned the thickness of the walls. Im not quite sure how to make a wall go UP. is it just a piece of ground and you drag t or something? im not quite sure.

still got one problem. I managed to make a room, and ive heard of caulk, (it makes loading more efficient and things.) but if its just one room do i need caulk?

@jimi go to modsonline.com and do the videotutorials there is everything for the first room explained and no you dont need scripting only the gsc-file and csv for ambient if you wanna add
