Loading screen stretched

Why has it happened? I followed the MODSonline tutorial, http://www.modsonline.com/Tutorials-read-319.html - doing everything exactly as it said.

Create your loadscreen at size 1024x768
Then stretch the size to 1024x1024
Now convert to iwi.

hmm oke im not very good at photoshop so how can i rezise a picture from 1024/768 to 1024x1024 because when i do image>image size then if i change the 768 to 1024 the other one also changes :S

theres a program call PIXresizer it goes to 640 X480 but has a custom setting to. worth looking at.

There is a button called "constrain size" or something similar, it must be unticked.

Thats what i do, but i still always get that problem..I usually squash the image to counter it a bit, and put it on a black background 1024x1024.

You need to allow for room for expansion.

So create your loading screen at 1024x768, but do not put anything crucial at the sides. All of the CoD2 stock loadscreens are 1024x1024 and are stretched before they are put ingame.

when i am making a loadscreen i make a picture+black frame = 1024 x 1024 and then black frame disapperas because picture stretches
it normaly works :wink:
