Installing Tool Problem

Hi,

I got a big problem...
When I start installing the mapmod tool everything is fine....
when I have to select the Call Of Duty 2 folder, I did and pressed on the next button.
My problem is that I get an error: "A valid Call Of Duty 2 installation could not be found at the path specified. Please specify the path where Call Of Duty 2 is installed."

My path is: D:\Call Of Duty 2 (that is the one I've selected)

What have I done wrong??
Can anyone help me?

Hi I fixed the whole problem...

I have replaced Call Of Duty 2 to the default map(C:\Program Files\Activision\Call Of Duty 2)
Then I installed the COD2 version 1.2 patch, before replacing I could't do that.
After installing the patch I have Installed The Mapping Tool... And it worked

I hope this helps people who got the same problem.

i reinstalled windows but only the C: i had it cod 2 on my D: and stuff it all works fine with shortcuts. but i cant install the editor. help me? ITS RIKKU <================ OLD SKOOLAGEZ0R

Hi, yea that was my problem too.... I have fixed it on a very weird way..
well, this is unfortunately my way to do it: I have installed COD2 on the C: and the patch on the C: then I have installed the editor on the C: and cut the whole COD2 map to the D:

I really hope someone else knows a better way to do it...

But maybe this helps.

To make maps in CoD2 you need CoD2 Radiant which can be found among the other modding tools in the download here:
