Blended textures overlapping eachother (CoD2)

Post by Grom » November 19th, 2005, 3:56 am

Many times the blended textures (for example a sign on a wall) looks like they are overlapping eachother, especially if I am right into a wall etc. I made a video of it, can be easier for you guys to understand then :P

Any other who have experienced the same thing?

Yes i get it also, even from a distance, I can always see strange changing textures. Your example is due to alpha blending, you seem to be able to see through the alpha blended part.

Hehe, that was because I used the in-game command /cl_avidemo 30 (Which takes 30 screenshot every second), so therefore the sucky fps :P

Convert all the .tga files to .jpeg files. I use the program Reaconverter to do the job, but I am sure there is more good programs out there. Link: http://www.reasoft.com/downloads/ReaConverterPro.exe

Then, you need to convert the .jpeg files to a movie. JPGVideo is brilliant to this work. Link: http://www.ndrw.co.uk/download/free/jpg ... gvideo.zip
