Editing a map with iwd file

Post by DTFtheBOUNCER » June 26th, 2012, 11:05 pm

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows a way to edit a map if you only have the iwd file. Also if you know how could you please help me? I want to take the barriers off mp_fav (favela remake) because the skybarrier is really low and there's barely any jumps on it. I just want to have some fun with it :)

An IWD is a container file, like a zip file.
You also have .ff file which are compiled version of multiple files (such as the map, textures, scripts ,etc)
Inside that, you have the BSP (or equivalent) which contains the map contents in a compiled format.

The map files cannot be retrieve d from any of the above sources, so in short the answer is no.
