I can't help whatsoever although I want to follow this thread because it's an interesting concept (not really a concept since you have it kind of working but w/e), good luck to finding out more about this.

CoDJumper isn't into CoD 1 anymore, I guess. Nobody can help me here :p

I will stop researching on this as I haven't any stimulation for it right now... I will continue after my exams.

Is there ANYone that still mods on cod1 ?

This might be potentially useful for other CoD games as well, not just CoD1. CoDJumper is pretty much only into CoD4 and has been for some time now. Unfortunately we don't have 10+ servers for both CoD2 and CoD1 like there are for CoD4 and the community reflects this.

Probably, but you're unlikely to find them here.

is the .shader file for cod1 equivalent to material files in cod4?
