Insane Steam Sales

Post by Coontang » July 7th, 2011, 11:14 am

Hey guys, long time since I posted, but I've recently been using Steam again and there are huge sales going on at the moment. Prices are literally slashed (and not the pretend 'slashed' that they usually are - it's not 1-2 $ off, it's actually about 80% for some items).

Deals are daily, and finishes on 10th July. I managed to whip up Torchlight for about £1.70, fantastic offer. The half life 2 games have also been selling for about £1.70 during the past week.

The deals for today include:

Sims 3 - £29.99 to £10.20
Batman Arkham Asylum - £14.99 to £3.74
Left 4 Dead 2 - £14.99 to £3.74 (Fantastic deal!)
Valve Complete Pack (24 items) - £24.99
GTA 4 Full (with the episodes) - £6.24

Really are some fantastic bargains to be had if you have a look around on there over the next couple of days.

Happy gaming!

Oh also, TF2 has now been released free on Steam.

There's a lot of company packs, I believe the Valve one is still active.

But I already own all Valve games apart of Counterstrike (No interest) and Portal 2 so I cba buying it.

Yeah, the company packs are generally reduced price anyway, but the standalone deals are where there seems to be the greatest advantage.

Some of today's deals:

Rift - £29.99 to £7.49
Audiosurf - £0.89
Company of Heroes - £1.74
Counter Strike Source - £3.49

Not sure what Sanctum is, but it's supposedly a First Person Shooter Tower Defense (?) game, topping the purchase chart for today.
