Hy, here's my first map...
It's really long and kinda hard, with a small story.
It's actually 3 maps, the original, and I cut it in two, to make it easyer to finish.
Hope I left no bugs

I did your map before you posted here, and I liked it!

I'm always happy to see that there still are some people who map for CoD2.

good job, man
here's my review:
(sry its not organised, i just write whatever comes into my mind )
level design was really good at some places such as the blood valey, and really bad at others such as big square rooms
the ambient sound was nice and fitted the map
nice story
there were some small bugs such as places where the player can get stuck
i didnt like most of the textures tbh, you could've used some more custom textures imo
also there were very few details (it saves fps, cause the map is long but still it would look better with some details)
i think most parts weren't portalled? or maybe im wrong? i didnt have problems with fps but my pc is good
the lighting was good overall, but it was too dark at some areas (looking good but hard to jump)
at 1 place it was very dark and i had to jump on some boxes textured with the bright red texture - this really hurted my eyes and i had to skip it with noclip
the scripting was advanced (defining custom player variables and the target practice script) nice
some very good new jumps, i really liked the corner jump with an end cap
some not so good new jumps, the rotating room had nice gameplay but the constant rotating hurted my eyes
there are secrets and bonus rooms which is good
are you sure all secrets are possible to get? i found only 2 and couldnt get the 1
nice idea with the taxi and "some time later"
some jumps were very hard, you could've left them for a hard version maybe but thats not a problem i just had to skip them (that crazy slide down where i have to avoid the obstacles and in the end hard bounce -.- )
very nice effects at some places - the top of the pyramid was awesome, and the end too
thats what i can think of now, i hope i havent forgotten anything important
overall i liked it, i think ppl should try it

Ahh yea, now when Floater said these things I remember what I wanted to say as well
I LOVE this long bounce where you've to avoid the obstacles, nice idea!
And you really have some effects which are really nice!
Very good map for a beginner I guess.

So, I'll try to reply in the order you did your review...
Level design sucks some times, I know...I just had some ideas and wanted to finish it soon...same with details..
and same with custom textures...and they also consume fps really bad..
I don't know if you could get stuck anywhere...
About portalling...yeah it isn't..only with those structured brushes...I don't really understand that yet.. (btw Creep said he doesn't use portals either, so i figured its not that important )
The map's mood is very dark, so it needs that, maybe some more gamma could help that
About the script: I'm a modder too, so I used that advantage a little

Good map, Wish u had made more .. ur maps are so much more fun with the missions things..

Can someone help me please?
This is my best jump map of erm all.. And I cant get the last collectium at the end of the map. I cant do the jumps. I have tried over and over. I wouldent post over a jump but its doing my head in. Is der a like a way of doing it ? Or what fps do I need for the gaps.

I would make more maps, if i wasn't so lazy, also i don't really have time/any good ideas right now...
The jump at the last secret is a wallspeed jump if i remember correctly...like the 2 jumps before the jumpdown/grab part.
Here's a tutorial:
Also, there's a bug in jm_descend_full, the 2nd secret in unreachable, sorry about that.

lol i was on codjumper server (not CodJumper.com) and omg there was 40 min time for your map and i took like 5 mins for first 3 jumps so i think i need like 2 hours to end full map....
