[CoD4] mp_forgotten (released)

Post by jumpicek » August 10th, 2010, 11:14 pm

Hello. :D I decided to create another map. I called it mp_forgotten. The map should simulate annihilated world or just some forgotten place (whatever). I wanted to make that map much longer, but my Radiant did not let me do that (because of errors). So the end of the map is really ugly (sorry for that). As ever, I tried to make the map as much "natural" as i could (No damn "floating" platforms). Whole map is possible to finish with 125 fps (I tested it several times). Mp_forgotten can be a little bit confusing, so if you will don't know where to jump, just simply look after arrows (I placed arrows on blind places). What else to say ... just good luck, have fun and also patience! :D

Good to see something new from you 8) I did like your previous maps so probably I'll like this one too. :P
I'll test it out soon.

I tested your map :P

The map itself was quite good, nice jumps, original, fun... except on a few things :

1) red objects, red weapon(s)

2) fail ground :d, where you can go under map[3]

Try to work on those points if you might make another map :D
But after all your map was quite good ;)

Hmm...
1) I have no problem with these red objects :O maybe try to switch off "Specular Map" :O
2) Ye, that's a quite big fail ... however if you want to finish that map, going under map won't help you to reach the finish of map.
3) ...
4) Oops, i made invisible wall too up (above the bounce) ... But, if you jump over the fence, you will miss just three quite easy jumps ....
5) Once again, have no problem with that (and once again, try to switch off "Specular Map" in Graphic menu)

|Master|, thank you for these screenshots etc. Now I know I have to make maps more carefully. I'm glad that someone found these "bugs" ...
:D

Looks pretty nice, better than most cod4 maps nowadays.
