work in progress Deck16][

Post by <LT>YosemiteSam[NL] » June 8th, 2010, 10:20 am

Just putting up some screens of the CoD2 deck16 map I'm remaking.
The map is far from done (being a sucker for detail doesn't help :) ) but I'm making good progress.

I honestly suggest changing the slime texture to something a bit bigger(512x512 preferably) or rearange the texture using the surface inspector so it's not so stretched.

But good progress so far, looks quite promising. :)

I heard somewhere that the best way to start is juggling 2 balls with one hand, so you will get a feel for it.

Yep, it still needs alot of tweaking (texture/sound/light/gamespeed/jumpheight and so on) but I'm first making the raw version and then start tweaking.
Thx m8 :)

Thx Battery but.....
That is Deck16][ from unreal 2004.
The original one is realy from Unreal, the one I'm making is the one frome Unreal tournament 1999.
Working on 2 pc's, 1 = Unreal Editor and 2 = COD2 Radient ....copy copy copy.
Unfortinately the unreal editor and CoD2 radient editor differ in terms of measurements so I have to scale the map by feel.
Also adding 3 jumppads, just for fun and gameplay.

Thx I will keep it up and hopefully it will become just as good as the UT one.

Looks pretty nice, copying all that must be boring I guess?
