Battle field 2 still good?

Hey Im jsut asking seeing as I may cough up a small matter of £15 for the full version with all the expansions etc and wondering about the support for it community etc. I played the game a few times at my mates hosue and while never getting into the full tactical swing i did have osme enjoyment playing. Alwso, following my 360 banning I need an online game to play as something a bit different.

I think this game is under £15 with everything if you look around, check the EA website as the expansions e.t.c are now FREE.

I love the game and still play it for 5-10 hours a week.

ORLY? I just hopped on steam to check if they sold it and its n there for 15. Might buy it from there unless theres significant savings as steam makes it a bit easier IMO. But that also means having steam?

EDIT: Found it on amazon for just £10. Buy it from there methinks?

Decided to buy the hard copy for a tenner off amazon. Might come by this weekend but not in a great deal of rush tbh
