Post by lexalolsicnh » June 6th, 2009, 7:11 pm

i made a map, i know got a .d3dbsp, a .gsc a.csv a _load.csv and i think thats it ( it runs when i click "run selected map" and the lighting and everything is how i want it) so how do i get from that to an online playable map? i know i have to put two .ff files into a folder and zip them but how do i get to these .ff files from where i am now?

It will be in your C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\usermaps folder. Just find the folder named after your map and put it in a .zip.

Ah, sorry, I was looking at when I put one of my maps in there a long time back. It'll actually be in your C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\zone folder under the subfolder of the language you installed the game on. For instance, if you installed it in English it will be:

C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\zone\english\yourmap.ff

and

C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\zone\english\yourmap_load.ff
