My first map

I'm making my first real jump map... and I really need help making windows :D

For now that's about it :D I'll probably need a lot more help later on :D

Use clipper tool to cut a square out of your brush. Alt+Enter to cut the brush on all four sides of the window, then delete the brush in the middle.

Umm.. yeah...
I meant the glass part of the window :D
But thanks anyway. I've been putting brushes together to make windows and door till now :D

you mean making the glass break or finding a glass texture?

Just the texture for now...
I used mtl_cean_window_brown_1 but when you looke to the spot where the brush was touching the frame u could see trough the frame and every brush behind the frame... Simply put - you could see the sky.

Make the entire brush out of the texture "nodraw" then select each individual side of the main window (the glass sides) and texture them as the window.

Start again.

1. Make Big Wall
2. Cut Big wall to make a window
3. Select the window
4. Change texture to 'NODRAW' (is a tool texture)
5. Now individually select the sides of the window
6. Change texture to what you need

Select the entire area of that map and save as a new file. send me the new file.
