If it was the PSU you should be able to smell it quite strong from it. Harddrive electronics are also known to burn, but if it's now shutting off immediately after switching on (before it tries to boot) then it wouldn't be that.

Technique looks pretty good, though not all that smooth when you actually make it, looks a bit floaty when you land but i couldn't honestly say without looking more closely. Might be perfectly fine, in which case i congrat u!

Pretty amazing map tbh..visually pleasing and good atmosphere to it. Nice effects and scripting, lots of things i liked about it. Took me nearly an hour to complete(without save mod). Great work!
