As far as i know youre editing the wrong file. Isnt the default_server.cfg a file that is generate by the game on every startup?
Editing this wont take any effect. Im not sure..need further opinions.

i tried it for 30 min on 2 different bounces(the second one was Pipeline from lamppost to higher part of the roof) nad cant see any diffrence. Either width or height.
