Re: Experience with IW.NET
Here's my config, you can paste my commands in your config_mp.cfg which is located in C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2\players // generated by Infinity Ward, do not modify unbindall bind TAB "+scores" bind ESCAPE "togglemenu" bind SPACE ...

Re: Experience with IW.NET
I have had MW2 for a few days now and at first I was annoyed at how I was sent into 140ms games at nights (it would send me to an american server) and it sucked that I had to actually leave the server and keep trying till I found a good one. I recently found out that you can change the maxping etc i...

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Oh and btw... A new interview which I think is totally worth watching: http://multiplayerblog.mtv.com/2009/11/04/infinity-ward-on-modern-warfare-2-dedicated-servers-wait-and-see/ He gives us little hope and he is actually being pretty logical one or two points. Glad to see a reply from the main man....

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I'd go as far as sabotaging the site to ensure that MW2 files aren't hosted here on PC. And that's exactly what IW wants. Do you think they like to see people finding jumps and glitches in their maps? By doing this you're only doing IW a favor! Besides, I have my hope in that there will be some way...

Re: Ipod Touch Apps
I've got a jailbroken iPhone 3GS and some apps that I would recommend are Apps - Jaadu VNC (Control any computer from your iPhone/iPod, all you need is an IP address) - eBuddy (MSN for iPhone/iPod) - Spotify (Premium account needed, totally worth it) - WifiTrak (Find Wifi near you) Games - iNes (Nin...

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Apparently there was a live chat with the IW staff last night, and the text below is taken from a thread on IW forum by someone summarizing the chat. - We will NOT have a game-console (where you type commands to change detailed gfx, serverbased commands, etc) - They are unsure whether there will be ...

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Hey guys :) Well, MW2 is getting closer and I'm wondering if you guys will play this and what if CJ will be active in that game. I haven't been around for a while but I'm pretty certain you know the concequences of the no dedicated servers etc and I personally think it's a damn shame, BUT I have hop...

Re: PC Buying - Help Please.
Don't worry, there are very few stoppable wars on this forum. I don't remember which one it is. It wasn't for my computer anyway, it was for another computer that is kind of like the secondary gaming computer in my house. Btw, I love how you quote something and fail to put a source :P Aight. I don'...

Re: PC Buying - Help Please.
The 4870 is most definitely not the most popular card on the market. Nvidia continues to be more popular because of Physx support and a better history of support and performance. I've had ATI in the past as well, and definitely prefer Nvidia. Of course, things may have changed since the last time I...

Re: PC Buying - Help Please.
My main gripe against ATI cards is that me / my family spent £600 on 2 new ATI cards a few years back. Long story short, the Nvidia cards of the same age / price can play newer games that the ATI cards couldn't. The reason behind this was that ATI were releasing cards with already out dated techno...

Re: PC Buying - Help Please.
Soviet summed it up pretty well I think, and I agree with all the components he chose except the graphics card. The graphics card is worse than the rest of your PC and it would suck to have a gaming PC where your graphics card bottlenecked.
I highly recommend the ATI HD4870 instead.
