Re: Gaming Headsets - problems?!
I have personally used several different Razer headsets and am currently using a combination of 3 different headsets on each of my gaming setups. I would also like to mention that I also have long hair like you (as in VERY long hair), and I also wear glasses (which play a large role in my headset ch...

Re: Fps Help!!
Since you didnt post a specific game i'm going to generalize things a bit. Your graphics card appears to be a AMD Radeonâ„¢ HD 6310. A very low end Integrated ATI graphics card. For Call of duty 4: Megazor's suggestion of cg_norender 1 would get you a constant 333, good luck trying anything else, te...

Re: Call of Duty 1 Radiant Loading Screen?
If you wish to save it as a .dds file then that would be recommended. I believe there are a few converters that just straight convert a certain file type to .dds.
I personally use GIMP which is a free photoshop alternative that has a .dds plugin.

Re: Call of Duty 1 Radiant Loading Screen?
On cod1 at least, putting in a loading screen image should not require any extra scripting. In your levelshots folder is where the picture should be located. I don't know what extensions work specifically but all my loading screen pictures have been .dds files. I tend to keep my picture sizes to 102...

Re: Multiple strafe
In this demo I do no more than hold the W and A keys, and make a smooth turn onto an elevated surface, jumping as soon as I hit it (I continue turning a bit by habit even though it's not necessary), propelling myself to an even higher surface and jumping after that, holding the same W and A the enti...

Re: Multiple strafe
The jumping technique for 1.1 you are describing is commonly used by many players including me, especially in wars and scrims. Be aware that this for the most part will require a constant 333 to achieve what you have most likely seen. Brecourt is a very good map for this, you will see many skilled p...

the problem is exactly what drofder has stated. just delete any instances of getGUID you find and any appropriate code that goes along with it.

Re: CoD 1.5 Maps in CoD 1.1 Maps
You can find all these maps in 1.1 working format (except for bocage) at my 1.1 clan's site: http://wy6.uk.to/downloads.php . They are inside the custom map pack file, it's a fairly large download but you should be able to simply rip out the appropriate files for those maps from the pack. As for the...

Tribes Ascend
Hey Codjumpers, don't know how much ya'll know about the Tribes game series. I'm still pretty sure we have some old school gamers in here though. Tribes Ascend is the newest game in the Tribes series, kinda like a cross betweem Unreal Tournament, Quake, and Halo if you need a description and you've ...

Re: some1 maybe know?
There is no "patch" for 1.1 per say, but you can downgrade your 1.5 copy in a few easy steps: 1. Make a copy of your 1.5 folder, it's probably named "Call of Duty", so you're going to want to copy it, and then rename it to something such as "1.1". 2. Now you will need t...

Re: [REQUEST] 250 AND HIGHER GAP SCRIPT!
They're actually very doable with a 333-250 fps switch, up to at least 275.megazor wrote:270+ are undoable without scripts. well, they are doable, but it would take YEARS to do them. and i am not sick to spend years doing gap jumps.

I personally use Opera, have for several years. Personal preference I suppose, although I guess it's mostly the fact that I'm most familiar with it and prefer it in other aspects.
