PLEASE DO NOT POST IN THIS TOPIC UNLESS YOU HAVE A QUESTION OR SUGGESTION REGARDING THE RULES. ALL SUBMISSIONS SHOULD BE MADE AS A SEPARATE TOPIC.

Do you want your video uploading to the official CoDJumper.com YouTube channel? If so, please read on!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

»»» Rules

- Any music in the video MUST be non-copyrighted music (see section below)
- Video must be at least 30 seconds in length.
- Video may promote own clan/site, but within reason. (For example, taking up the screen for your logo is not allowed)
- Video quality must be 480p or better.
- We reserve the right to add a CoDJumper.com intro to your video.
- Once a video is uploaded, it will not be removed.
- While we are a jumping community, we will consider some gameplay videos or anything we think our subscribers may enjoy watching.

These rules are subject to change. We may be lenient on individual rules depending on the circumstances (for example, a very high quality video which is less than 60 seconds in length may pass).

Any videos submitted which pass all of the above requirements, and deemed to be of a high enough quality (in all aspects of entertainment value, grammar, etc.), will be uploaded to our official YouTube channel. Full credit will be given in the video description, using the details you have provided.

If a video submitted does not pass the requirements, a reason will be posted in your topic, explaining the reasons for the rejection.

Do not post videos which are not made by you, unless you have explicit permission to do so from the original creator.

Please do not attempt to manipulate our system of [REQUEST] / [APPROVED] / [DENIED]. If you edit your topic title at any stage you stand a good chance of having your video declined, and possibly further action against your forum account. Please do not add [REQUEST] to the start of your topic name - we will do this ourselves when we add it to the queue. If you add this yourself, you risk us not noticing your topic!

»»» Music

Update 10th May 2014: We have now removed the requirement for music to be royalty-free/non-copyrighted. Non-copyrighted music is preferred over copyrighted music, however.

In order to avoid the risk of our channel receiving copyright strikes, we now operate a copyright-free (or royalty-free) music policy on ALL videos uploaded on our channel.

You must use any music from any of the channels listed below:
http://www.youtube.com/ByeByeCopyright
http://www.youtube.com/NoCopyrightSounds
http://www.youtube.com/AudioPad
(if you have found an account you believe should be added to this list, please post in this topic)

When submitting your request, please include a direct link to the video/s on these channels that you have used.

We also accept tracks under the PodSafe scheme - this includes tracks by many popular artists, including Celldweller, Blue Stahli, Damage Vault, and many others. For a full list of allowed tracks, please click on this link. If you use one of these tracks, please state that it is PodSafe in your submission.

»»» What to do

So, you agree to all the rules above and are ready to submit your video for approval?

Please create a new topic in this forum, using the following template:

YouTube channel link:
YouTube video link:
Download link
*:
Music (YouTube URL or PodSafe title):
Additional credits:

* If you wish, we can download directly from a YouTube video link provided. Bear in mind that this may however result in a loss of video quality. For information on free file hosting websites, please read the section below.

Please do not add [REQUEST] to the start of your topic name - we will do this ourselves when we add it to the queue. If you add this yourself, you risk us not noticing your topic!

»»» Video upload websites

Need somewhere to upload your video to? Please use one of the following hosts (or your own):
https://mega.co.nz/ (THIS IS PREFERRED)
http://www.mediafire.com/
http://www.dropbox.com/
http://www.zippyshare.com/
They're free, fast, and no waiting time for us to download!

Please note - it is best that you wait until your video has been approved, before providing a download link. This may avoid disappointment if a video is not approved, but also avoids download links from expiring (which happens, if we have a reasonable number of videos in the request list). If you do wish to upload your video before approval, then the top link above is preferred, as it seems to have the longest availability period.
