New Graphics Card

Post by [SoE]_Zaitsev » January 9th, 2011, 4:05 pm

My current one (9800 GT) is showing signs that it's about to die.

What card do you guys suggest (Budget is between 100 and 200 euros). Curious what you guys come up with, my brother already suggested a card (Can't tell atm which one it is, will update later) but I like to know what the experts come up with :D

Asus are "famous" for their motherboards, not graphics cards.
Well i was reading some posts in 2 different PC magazines in what they say that Asus has a high number of motherboards but as i was reading that i saw something even more interesting in what they say " For many users Asus grafic cards are the one with the most stable quality and ". Even when i watch comments on the internet i yust see good replys to Asus :D :D many of my friend have the Asus grafic cards :D :D ok ok i know FAIL they are not famous for there grafic cards, but I just tried to convince him :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Aye not a bad choice, comfortably within the price range. Tbh just get the highest GTX model number that you want to buy within that price range. Depends how much you want to spend.
Well I don't need the best of the best but I want to be able to run newer games pretty smooth. I would just like to be able to play Black Ops without FPS lag.

Could you link me towards that graphics card you guys have ?

Just been checking - you can get some seriously good cards cheap now lol.
I have the 1Gb version of card:
Overclockers:
MSI GeForce GTX 460 Cyclone 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £127.65
Its now gone up since I ordered, more than the extra 2.5% VAT.

Oops, just looked, £127.65 is ex VAT:

Well, including VAT, the price has gone up by £17.
