Where I live is totally over run with squirrels, they cause an absoloute nuisance and as a result some of my neighbours have taken it upon themselves to lower the population. I know one of my neighbours got over 100 in a couple of months last summer.

Well yeh. Unless... you're in a situation like KS. Then it's acceptable.

That's how it works in Holland aswell. If there's too many of a certain animal type, people are allowed to shoot a number of animals to lower the population. But you must know that already :)
